Year of the Yang Water Tiger
In Chinese culture, we place a big emphasis on celebrating the lunar rather than the solar new year.
As per Chinese cosmology, 2022 will be a year to focus on healing the following:
Immunity
Emotions of anger, fear and willfullness
Organs including the liver, gallbladder, lungs and digestive system
Some actionable steps you can take to prevent any disruptions to your health could include:
Saying no to doing too many activities which drain your energy
Direct compassionate communication
Choose kindheartedness and understanding over anger
Cultivate patience and be flexible
Increase spiritual activities
Increasing exercise routines and frequency to create movement and reduce stagnation in the body
Have a balance between dynamic exercise and calm reflection
Herbal medicine
Diet: white coloured vegetables, chicken, pungent spices, cooked greens, tendon and liver
Focus on lighter style cooking in the warmer seasons e.g. stir fry, steaming, flash cooking
I wish you prosperity and good health in the year of the tiger!
Yours in health,
