How stress impacts your fertility.

Did you know that pregnenolone is actually considered the mother hormone of all other hormones? It's a vital hormone that our body produces naturally in the adrenal glands, the liver, and the brain. However, many people are not aware that this hormone is often used up to make cortisone, a hormone that is released in response to stress.

When our body is under stress, it triggers the release of cortisol, which is made from pregnenolone. This means that when we are constantly under stress, our body is using up pregnenolone to produce cortisol, leaving little pregnenolone for the production of other hormones, such as progesterone and estrogen, which are vital for reproductive health and fertility.

This can cause hormonal imbalances, which can lead to a variety of health problems, such as irregular periods, infertility, mood swings, and even depression.

So, if you are someone who is constantly under stress and trying to conceive, it's important to take steps to manage your stress levels and support your body's natural hormone production. This can include things like getting enough sleep, practicing meditation or yoga, and incorporating healthy habits like a balanced diet and regular exercise into your daily routine.

Remember, your body is an intricate system that requires balance and support to function properly, so take care of yourself and your hormones.
